It’s not easy being a singer/songwriter …
Especially when you have a day gig.
You know you’re an artist if you suffer for your art.
What exactly is suffering?
It’s probably trying to do something that is bigger than yourself, but ultimately realizing that it’s just as easy as doing your best.
They say that artists have vision.
But my experience is the people with vision like to talk about it and never do it.
My only vision is to get lost in the process.
And yes, in the back of my mind, is probably to impress someone else.
That’s where the muse comes in.
