I’m not saying this is my best song …
But it has withstood the test of time.
The reason?
Maybe because it transports you back to a time and place that no longer exists. Or maybe it has something to do with the simple chord loop. Most of all I think it’s the words. Story telling works best when it doesn’t get bogged down with over analysis.
